  • Radisson Blu Antwerp shines again

An investment of 9 million euros has considerably transformed Radisson Blu Antwerp. The project started in early 2017 and the result includes renewed rooms and halls, and the opening of a Starbucks in the ground floor of the hotel.

Jacqueline Struik, General Manager of Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel Antwerp: "We are delighted to be able to show our guests and customers a completely renovated hotel. Thanks to a thorough renovation, the hotel has undergone a huge metamorphosis and is now a stylish, contemporary product that confirms our position as one of Antwerp's top hotels. We are ready to continue to grow and take the hotel to a higher level. "

    Total makeover

All rooms and apartments, 253 in total, were renovated and decorated in a contemporary style. Each room has new furniture, beds, floors, curtains, lighting and decoration. The fitness and relaxation room were refreshed.

The Radisson Blu is also known as a strong player in the meeting and event sector. That is why a lot of attention was paid to the renovation of the 15 meeting rooms and the ballroom. On the second floor, the breakfast restaurant and the Diamond Lounge, with a view of the Central Station, have been taken care of.

Furthermore two restaurants were renewed. In the last phase of the works, which end in June, the hotel also launches a restaurant with a new name and a new concept. There is already a new Starbucks branch open on the ground floor, and a comics room.
