Switzerland, anniversaries and stars ready to be discovered!

At Grand Hotel du Lac in Vevey, 150the anniversary rhymes with special seminar offer!

To celebrate its 150 years, this Relais & Châteaux hotel in Belle Epoque style situated in Vevey, proposes a special offer for seminar organisers.
Do not be fooled by its great age, the Grand Hotel du Lac is actually a very spritely old lady lounging majestically on the shores of Lake Leman and was entirely renovated in 2006. The hotel offers a refined and elegant environment which will be appreciated by the most discerning travellers.

The Grand Hotel du Lac counts 50 bedrooms and 6 function rooms, ideal for small upscale seminars or incentives. Guests have a choice of two restaurants: Les Saisons, a traditional and elegant restaurant awarded a Michelin star and La Véranda offering stunning views of the Vevey Port.

To celebrate this important anniversary, the hotel proposes a business day package à 150 CHF (130 euros). This rate includes the meeting room, the coffee breaks and a 3-course lunch as well as an activity of choice: a cooking workshop with head chef Thomas Neeser (10 pax maximum, a wine-tasting by the sommelier of wines of the region, or an upscale aperitif for all participants in the bar or on one of the terraces. This special offer is valid throughout this year for events in 2018.

Stars on the menu of your next event in Switzerland!

In Switzerland no stone is left unturned to ensure a top gastronomic experience with elegant, tasty and creative venues and dishes. Proof, you ask? Just take a look at the Michelin Guide for 2018.
Did you know that Switzerland is the country with the most star-restaurant per inhabitant? And the number of restaurants awarded the much coveted Michelin stars is growing year after year (+40% in 10 years!) proving that gastronomy takes an increasingly important place in the Swiss culture . As Belgians appreciate fine dining and good food in general, this is definitely a selling point that will help to convince the decision makers.

In 2018, the famous red guidebook lists 118 restaurants. Amongst the newcomers, 4 restaurants in particular are specifically interesting for groups attending a seminar. In particular we like the 2-star Einstein Gourmet in hotel Einstein in Sankt Gallen. The restaurant, run by two German chefs, not only treats the guests to succulent and original dishes, but also spectacular views of the town. The hotel offers 113 rooms and suites, an integrated convention centre of 15 meeting rooms and a Fitness Park. An ideal combination for mixing business with pleasure, wellness and gastronomy!
